Laser Lithotripsy Division
Laser lithotripsy is a procedure to break apart kidney stones in the urinary tract. It is done with a ureteroscope passed into the tubes of the urinary tract. Incisions are not needed. The laser breaks the kidney stones into smaller pieces that can either be removed by the surgeon or pass out of the body in the urine.

Potent Holmium Laser System
Holmium laser is a solid-state and pulsed laser. This laser emits light at a wavelength of 2.1um and can transmit through optical fibres which makes holmium laser highly suitable for endoscopic surgery in mainly clinical specialties, and currently mostly used in urology for treatment of stones, BPH and tumours. In recent years, holmium laser treatment has spread out to many other specialties like Gastroenterology, Neurology, Pulmonology, Orthopedics etc.
Hypho Holmium Laser System
2.1 µm radiation of the HyPHo system is strongly absorbed by water and tissue. Minimal penetration, less than 0.5mm, ensures safe tissue ablation. The laser operates only in pulsed mode. When it operates with short pulse duration it is highly effective in the fragmentation of calculi and in the tissue ablation. When it operates in long pulse duration it is highly effective in cutting soft tissue providing excellent haemostasis and coagulation.

The UroFunnel® System is a revolution in fluid capture for wet urology procedures. It’s wide diameter and innovative design captures almost all fluid waste, keeping the surgeon, table, patient and floors dry – dramatically improving infection control and staff productivity. The UroFunnel bag is unobtrusive and makes an ideal resting place for the surgeon’s instruments. Because it is independent of the patient drape it won’t start to fill up and pull down on the site making it a far safer option than a traditional TUR drape. At the base of the bag, a mesh screen collects any tissue specimen before the effluent is carried through a wide extendable drain hose that connects to our SafeDispose™ Containers forming a completely closed system.
